A Major Crash, A Minor Gash: A Client Testimonial on Proactive Care

Nancy Azizi & Rhea Zimmerman 9 Days After The Car Crash

I received a phone call that a client was in an accident going somewhere around 50 miles an hour and needed an off-hours appointment to see me.  I arrived on a Friday morning, seven days after the reported accident expecting to see this client walk in with the face of pain that others have after various types of falls and accidents.  I saw the opposite.  In walks a glowing client telling me how she wants to be my next “testimonial” because, quite frankly, she didn’t need to be in my office at that moment.

This is the most unusual post-accident office visit, and testimonial request, I have had, because it is about how having had care with me before the accident helped her body to adapt to the accident.  Its not a “how she healed because of the adjustments I gave her” story, its a “how she adapted naturally because of the adjustments that I gave her before the accident” story.

She had no pain, no whiplash, nothing.  Here is her story, in her words.  Clearly her story is not a guarantee of the same results for everyone  else, but it sure is a great story about the possibility of wellness care and living proactively versus reactively for health and well being.  It is definitely what Blossom is all about!

“This convertible car was spinning on the freeway at 55mph, then it banged into a short rock wall and flipped as a result of the impact.

I, Nancy Azizi was the driver.  I survived with a few cuts, a giant bump on my  head, and bruises from the seat belt.

Prior to this incident, I had been seeing Rhea weekly for at least 2 years.  I visited her just because I felt her healing and therapeutic touch helped me be healthier and released the tensions that everyday life accumulated in my body.

I have no doubt that I have no whiplash, soreness, or spinal mobility issues, because of regular chiropractic care.  Preventative care will help you withstand life’s little or big spinal stresses.

It is because of her that I am in full function after this horrific incident.

One of my favorite elements to this testimonial, and the experience of sharing in her excited energy around it, is that through this experience she knows how masterfully powerful she is to adapt to life’s stressors, versus her thinking it is me or my “power to fix her” that did it.  This story exemplifies the goal of care at Blossom:  get clear (adjusted), stay clear (adjusted), and therefore live with all cylinders on- this is for optimum growth, healing, and adaptation.
